1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using the Crown Pools website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Description
Crown Pools provides fiberglass pool installation, renovation, maintenance, and related services throughout Louisiana, including but not limited to Lake Charles and Lafayette areas. All services are subject to availability and our professional assessment of project feasibility.
3. Quotes and Estimates
All quotes and estimates provided by Crown Pools are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change based on material costs, site conditions, and project scope modifications. Final pricing will be confirmed in writing before work commences.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be outlined in your service agreement. Typical payment schedules include:
- Deposit upon contract signing
- Progress payments at specified milestones
- Final payment upon project completion and customer approval
Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by Louisiana law. We reserve the right to suspend work on projects with outstanding payments.
5. Project Timeline
Project timelines are estimates based on normal weather conditions and material availability. Crown Pools is not liable for delays caused by weather, acts of God, material shortages, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate any delays promptly.
6. Warranty
Crown Pools offers comprehensive warranties on our installations as detailed in your service agreement. Warranty coverage varies by component:
- Fiberglass pool shells: Manufacturer's lifetime structural warranty
- Installation workmanship: Our standard warranty period
- Equipment: Manufacturer's warranty as specified
Warranties are void if the pool is improperly maintained, damaged by the customer or third parties, or if unauthorized modifications or repairs are made.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Obtaining necessary permits and ensuring compliance with local regulations
- Providing accurate property information and site access
- Ensuring proper ongoing maintenance of the pool and equipment
- Securing the pool area to prevent unauthorized access
- Following all safety guidelines and manufacturer recommendations
8. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Deposits may be non-refundable if materials have been ordered or significant work has been completed. Specific cancellation terms will be outlined in your service agreement.
9. Limitation of Liability
Crown Pools' liability is limited to the contract price of the services provided. We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages. Our liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for those services.
10. Property Access and Damage
Customer grants Crown Pools access to the property for the duration of the project. While we take precautions to protect your property, we are not responsible for damage to existing landscaping, underground utilities not properly marked, or structures that impede normal construction activities.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the Crown Pools website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and designs, is the property of Crown Pools or our content suppliers and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
12. Photography and Marketing
Crown Pools may photograph completed projects for marketing purposes. If you do not wish your project to be photographed or used in marketing materials, please notify us in writing before the project begins.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Louisiana law.
14. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
15. Changes to Terms
Crown Pools reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
16. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining terms remain in full force and effect.
